Northwestern University theatre professor Harvey Young illuminates 40 years of African American culture in Chicago. His powerful collection of oral histories includes interviews with prominent producers, directors, choreographers, designers, dancers, and actors who changed Chicago’s theatrical landscape from 1970 to 2010.
