The Reunion: Live in London and Livestreamed Globally
Today is the final day to watch The Reunion, which performed to sold-out audiences in London this weekend and live-streamed to a global audience of over 3600 households in 65 countries. The landmark event was a return to the stage for Aimie Atkinson, Alexia McIntosh, Grace Mouat, Jarneia Richard-Noel, Maiya Quansah-Breed, Millie O’Connell, and Natalie Paris who developed the vision for the concert in an effort to share messages of positivity, empowerment, and sisterhood to their fans from around globe. Best known for their performances as the original West End cast of the musical SIX, the artists had all gone in different directions but when the pandemic cancelled performance contracts they seized the opportunity to perform together again, working with Thespie to develop a COVID-safe performance experience on-stage and in the audience. The success of the shows illustrated that audiences are ready to be back experiencing great performances again, and happy to follow straightforward safety measures or tune in from home. The energy in the room was palpable, and the outpouring of love and appreciation for the artists on social media following the event was immense.
