Upon These Shoulders

A retrospective celebration of Black artists and what they have been able to accomplish over 154 years both on and offstage. The show will spotlight a history of creativity, the current state of the BIPOC community, and shine a light on the future of Broadway and the American theatre. The star-studded evening will include performances, interviews, and messages from Tony Award winning Broadway stars that will take a soul-stirring look at Black professionals in the American theatre and highlight why the Black Theatre Coalition is so vital to the mission of helping to move the needle towards true equality.
