The Long Song

The Long Song is adapted from Andrea Levy’s award-winning novel, set in Jamaica during the last turbulent days of slavery and the early years of freedom. The story is told from the perspective of July, a slave upon a sugar plantation named Amity and her struggle to survive in the face of injustice and inhumanity.
