Solstice

The English National Ballet dancers and musicians fill Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall with repertoire highlights. Expect dancing fireworks from classics like Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty and Le Corsaire; a passionate duet from Broken Wings (Annabelle Lopez Ochoa’s ballet inspired by the life of Frida Kahlo); and joyous steps from Coppélia – as well as reflection and tenderness in extracts from Akram Khan’s Dust and Ben Stevenson’s Three Preludes, set to Rachmaninoff’s beautiful music.
