Based on positive psychology, ‘self-love’ is accepted to be a force for good. The effect of this journey, based on the objectives of raising self-esteem and rejecting negativity, has only recently been closely scrutinised. To start this new “healthy” relationship with yourself, self- love’s advocates give you various pieces of advice to follow and many mantras. This show will explore and experiment all these notions and enter this tiny box where only self- empowering words are allowed, where Oprah and Jesus, wearing cucumber face masks, tell you to just keep living because you’re beautiful #nomatterwhattheysay. Do you really love yourself?
