15 Heroines: The War

15 Heroines: The War, inspired by Ovid, puts the women of mythology centre-stage. Gripping, entertaining and surprising, these tales turn warfare on its head.  The War stars Ann Ogbomo, Sophia Eleni, Rebekah Murrell, Gemma Whelan and Jemima Rooper in plays by Lettie Precious, Sabrina Mahfouz, Charlotte Jones, Abi Zakarian and Hannah Khalil. Showing in three separate parts (The War, The Desert and The Labyrinth), 15 Heroines reinvents familiar (and not so familiar!) myths - expect footballer’s wives, police-cell interrogations and celebrity confessionals.  Performed live at Jermyn Street Theatre and beautifully filmed by Digital Theatre.
