15 Heroines: The Desert

15 Heroines: The Desert, inspired by Ovid, puts the women of mythology centre-stage. Five plays casting a new and surprising light on what it’s like to be alone in a man’s world. The Desert stars Indra Ové, Rosalind Eleazar, Eleanor Tomlinson, Nicholle Cherrie and Martina Laird in plays by April de Angelis, Isley Lynn, Chinonyerem Odimba, Stella Duffy and Lorna French. Showing in three separate parts (The War, The Desert and The Labyrinth), 15 Heroines reinvents familiar (and not so familiar!) myths - expect footballer’s wives, police-cell interrogations and celebrity confessionals.  Performed live at Jermyn Street Theatre and beautifully filmed by Digital Theatre.
