Part of British Youth Opera's guest season at Opera Holland Park. An arranged marriage. A sitcom-style luggage mix up. Swapped identities. Falling in love while in disguise. L’occasione fa il ladro has it all – it’s crammed full of classic comedy opera tropes but manages to still be funny. Like genuinely laugh-out-loud funny. British Youth Opera is a training programme for young professionals. All participants onstage and behind the scenes, from singers to stage management, are at the beginning of their careers in opera.
